What is Veedemus?

Veedemus is an application that is intended to keep track of your video collection. You can add movies, tag them and share your collection with your friends.

Is it free?

Yes, it is. I developed it for myself and I thought I might as well share it with the public.

How can I use it?

First you have to sign in with your Google account. Then you can use the search box in the upper right corner to search for a movie by title. If you've found the movie you're looking for, click the green button to add this movie to your collection.

What else can I do?

You can mark the movies you have watched so you can see what movies you watch most often and which movie you haven't watched in a long time. You also have the possibility to tag your movies. This way you can add genre-information or other metadata to your collection.

What kind of name is Veedemus

It's pronounced like the latin word videmus which means we see or we watch.

Where can I change that profile image?

I am utilizing the gravatar-image to display these avatars. That means if you get a gravatar on http://www.gravatar.com you will automatically have that image displayed in your Veedemus-account.

I can't find the movie I'm looking for.

Be sure to check your spelling. The search unfortunately is extremely sensitive to spelling mistakes: A search for reservor dogs won't find the movie Reservoir Dogs due to the missing i.

How can I delete my account?

Just click here to delete your account. Only do this if you're absolutely sure you really want your account deleted. There is no going back - once it's gone it's gone!!!
